... to the web pages of the Department of International Affairs. Universität Hamburg has been taking part in the German Rectors' Conference's "Internationalization Audit" since fall 2010 to steer the ongoing internationalization process at the University in a new direction. As a result of this process, the task areas covered by International Affairs will also change. Our department is currently responsible for overseeing international exchanges both here in Germany and abroad. We provide assistance, support and information in the following areas:

• Managing partnerships and university exchange programs between the Universität Hamburg and partner universities abroad.
• Supporting researchers in establishing new international co-operation agreements.
• Co-ordinating and organizing a broad intercultural program for undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Universität Hamburg (Internationalization@home).
• All aspects of studying abroad.
• Taking the lead on implementing European mobility programs for students (ERASMUS).
• Providing a point of contact for all legal issues and questions about living abroad, organizing your studies and practical matters relating to studying as an international student at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the Universität Hamburg.
