Information Sessions for Schools

As a supplement to regular offers by the Office of Academic Advising and Psychological Counselling, the »Startzeiten« (Time to Start) project has special opportunities for high school students and high schools.

Special offers for schools and school groups

Our information talks provide high school students with information about their »first steps« at the Universität Hamburg:

• How do I apply?
• How does the application process work and which documents do I need to submit?
• What are the requirements for specific subjects?
• What does NC mean?
• Where can I find the information I need?

These and similar questions can be answered by an academic advisor.

Objective: High school students receive answers to their initial questions and find out where they can obtain further information.

Target group: Senior student groups from Gymnasia with their teachers and/or college coordinators.

Besides information sessions, the »Startzeiten« (Time to Start) project offers free seminars to help students in the decision-making process. With professional guidance, students examine their subject choices and develop individual strategies for pursuing their goals.
