Limited advising hours during semester breaks: Our advising services (short advising sessions without registration) only take place in the semester breaks on Monday from 4 to 5 p.m. We hold office hours regularly in the semester break but cannot always be reached. Please send us a mail or leave a message on our answering machine.
Starting on 1 October, advising hours on Monday from 4 to 5 p.m and on Thursday from 12:00 -13:00.
If you cannot attent any of these office hours, we would be happy to arrange an appointment for an in-depth advising session. This may involve, however, a waiting period.

Review of application documents
We advise you (in cooperation with the Academic Careers Team at the Employment Agency, among other institutions) on your current application documents. Please arrange an appointment by mail at careercenter@uni-hamburg.de and include the subect you are studying or have studied as well as the semester or year of graduation respectively. Please note that there may be a waiting period and plan accordingly.
The interview
In cooperation with LUCAS CONSULTING TEAM (a consulting company in the field of personnel and corporate development), you can gain experience in interviewing.
You will be interviewd by seminar participants of the LUCAS CONSULTING TEAM (head of personnel, personnel reps, management) and receive detailed feedback. You will also meet responsible contacts at interesting companies.

Unfortunately, we are not currently offering advising services in this area, but we are looking for a solution.
