The Department of University Development supports the Presidium in all questions of development, planning and university management. These include:
- The development and implementation of concepts and tools for the strategic development and management of the University
- The introduction and further development of new managing tools, including the development of a controlling system
- School-based and university-based structure and development planning
- The establishment of a quality management system for the entire University
- The survey, preparation and evaluation of stastical information including IT-supported information management
