Use of maps (print and Internet) for which you do not possess a copyright is prohibited and constitutes copyright infringement, which can be prosecuted. This is why the Section Online Services prepares maps for university institutions upon request only. The basis for this is the university's main map (supplement to the course catalogue).
We offer two alternatives:
The map consists of several layers which can be activated accordingly. These layers include:
- Traffic areas
- Natural areas and water
- S-Bahn train system
- Bridges
- Public transportation stations
- Street and building names
- University buildings
- Building numbers (large / small)
- Non-university buildings
- Museums
- Keys
If you need a special map for your institution, please let us know which layers you do or do not need and whether you need a new layer for your own specific information.
Draw your desired details, if necessary onto a print-out of the map and send these by e-mail to
online-dienste@uni-hamburg.de.
