Workshop Diversity
In January (January 14th, 2009), the Equal Opportunity Representative organized a workshop on diversity. Members of the University of Hamburg's leadership took part. The workshop concerned, on the one hand, an exchange regarding areas of diversity management in other universities as well as in firms and institutions. Six speakers from the private sector and other national and international universities were invited to give talks. On the other hand, the workshop aimed to gather those areas related to diversity in which Hamburg is already very active and to agree upon the further organization of diversity-related topics, as well as to initiate further steps at our university.
