Assistant professors contribute decisively to the University's excellence and academic profile. As future leading scholars, they also contribute important new ideas to the evolution of the University's organization.
The University aims to increase the number of women in research and teaching and specifically encourages women to apply. Qualified female applicants will receive preference in accordance with the Hamburg Higher Education Law.
Requirements:
Scientific and scholarly qualifications as well as further requirements according to § 18 of the Hamburg Higher Education Law.
Severely disabled, qualified applicants will receive preference over non-disabled applicants with the same qualifications.
Junior professors are remunerated according to the W 1 salary category of the Law on the Reform of Professorial Salaries.
