The Student Center, comprised of two teams, is a service center for applicants to and current students of the University of Hamburg.
The Admissions Team (Team Bewerbung und Zulassung) is responsible for placement distribution procedures for course programs at the University of Hamburg which are not overseen by the ZVS in Dortmund. It also supervises applicants from Germany, EU member countries and applicants who went to school in Germany. The team provides information about subjects and valid leaving degrees as well as teaching degrees and the university entrance qualification for working applicants.The Team for International Applications oversees all other international applicants outside the EU and/or who have not received their university entrance qualification in Germany.
The Student Affairs Team (Team Studierendenanglegenheiten) is the place to go for general questions. It is responsible for registration and ex-matriculation procedures as well as for applications to part-time study and leaves of absence. You can get your semester certificates, replacement certificates and many other things here. The Students Affairs Team can also answer all your questions about tuition fees.
