The information service FIT for Science provides current information on research funding and funding for young scientists and scholars; funding for international academic pursuits and on the transfer of academic findings to practical fields; prroject funding, fellowships, academic awards, etc. and current job offers and targeted selection opportunities in a single newsletter.
All employees of Universität Hamburg enjoy free access to the FIT newsletter.
If you subscribe, you can decide which information you'd like to have (e.g. job offers from the German Research Foundation, the EU, the federal ministries, funding for young scientists). In addition, you can select information by academic field. You also decide on which days of the week you'd like to receive the news via e-mail.
How do I use FIT?
You can register on the homepage: www.fit.uni-hamburg.de. Following registration, you will receive an email verification with user-name and password. Use these to register and to confirm whether the e-mail address is correct. If you want to change any information, log in and click on "Einstellungen" (settings).
Important: Without verification, the registration is not valid.
You need an e-mail address in the "uni-hamburg.de" domain for the newsletter. You don't have one? You can find application information here.
